I just got back from a whirlwind weekend of Imaging USA 2025. (For more information on what that is - check out last year's blog HERE) This year it was in Dallas, Texas. We have never been to Texas or Arkansas (which we drove through to get to Texas). It was fun to drive halfway across the world (ha), seeing all the things! The conference this year was really good too. The weather was near perfect, and the hotel was so nice! We have stayed at Gaylord Opryland before, and this was the same concept (a small city inside the hotel), but I prefer Opryland :)
The keynote speaker was Shola Richards and he was GREAT! He was exactly what I needed to hear - I am a nice person, and I am nice/kind to everyone (or try to be), but I'm not near as nice/kind to myself! He was very motivational and encouraging. You can choose which classes you go to, which is a chore for me because I'm terrible with making decisions, ha! I feel like I chose some good ones this year though!
There's also a trade show that is overwhelming with all of the vendors and products! I did find a new product I want to try this year, and I also came back with some precious baby outfits for my newborn clients. There's probably going to be another blog post on this one, but I also got a new water bottle and stickers for my one from last year.
I am already looking forward to next year's convention and I'm excited for some of the new places they have added that will be hosting future years! Every year it gets me fired up and refreshed about my photography business again and I ALWAYS learn something new! Now to go put to use what I've learned and keep the momentum going!
