It's been awhile since I've blogged! I will be doing a more personal post soon explaining why, but I HAD to blog this wedding! Dillian and Mandy got married last month and I was honored to be their photographer! It was just about the most excited for a wedding I've ever been once I found out the venue - The Space & Rocket Center ! The Space & Rocket Center holds a special place in my heart - my dad has worked at Teledyne Brown Engineering for 36 years and through them I was able to attend Space Camp when I was in 5th grade. I've been several times, took my kids, etc., but in all the years it has been around I had NO idea you could get married there! The wedding was absolutely gorgeous! The wedding took place in the Davidson Center for Space Exploration underneath the Saturn V rocket. How many people can say they got married under a rocket!? It was after hours, so the whole place was private. It was a bit windy and already getting dark, so we didn't get too many pictures in the rocket park, but the inside was just as awesome. They were able to do their "first look" in the IMAX theatre and have their first dance in front of the Lunar Rover. It is officially one of my favorite wedding venues and I highly recommend it to anybody looking for a venue! The staff was so helpful and nice the entire time. I am so glad I got to be a part of it and I wish Mandy & Dillian many more years of out of this world happiness!
